Hi, I’m Bliss
I grew up in Fremantle, Western Australia. Salt water and sunshine are genuinely part of my blood. When I am back there, standing near the ocean with that familiar coastal air, I breathe differently. Deeper. More like myself. That feeling has never left me, and it quietly shapes everything I do.
I have spent most of my adult life trying to understand why people do what they do, and what gets in the way of them feeling okay. I am drawn to the complexity beneath the surface. The way the nervous system holds a story long after the mind has moved on. That is the territory I work in.
I am the principal practitioner, psychophysiologist, and perpetual student at The Togetherness Project. We work from clinics in Melbourne (VIC) and Fremantle (WA), supporting families, carers, and individuals navigating mental health, neurodiversity, and eating disorders.
How I work:
My approach is integrative and functional. That means I am not looking at symptoms in isolation. I am interested in the full picture of a person, their biology, their history, their relationships, their environment, and the way all of those things are talking to each other.
The assessment is where that starts. I use QEEG and ERP brain mapping as a process oriented tool, working methodically through what is actually happening in the nervous system before drawing any conclusions. That level of detail changes everything about what comes next.
From there I build a personalised neuromodulation plan to support regulation, mood, sleep, and focus. For people who prefer non-medication options, or who want to understand the neurological picture more deeply before deciding anything, this tends to open things up considerably.
Family therapy sits within that same integrative frame. It is not an add on. Seeing a person within their relational context is part of understanding them fully. I offer therapy that is trauma aware, strengths based, and paced to where you actually are.
I believe family takes many forms: family of origin, chosen family, or the one you are in the middle of building. Whatever your situation, I want to meet you there.
What I bring:
I hold both professional expertise and lived experience. I have worked in public mental health and led state-wide initiatives. I have also walked this path as a carer, and as a neurodivergent (AuADHD) clinician who has raised five kids through diagnoses and treatment including Anorexia Nervosa, ADHD, and Autism. These experiences do not just inform my philosophy. They are embedded in how I practise.
I am currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Family Therapy, and I contribute to sector development through board roles with ANZAED, Tandem, and the NEDC Steering Committee, with a particular focus on improving family-inclusive practice, de-medicalising and depathologising care, carer support, and clinician training across eating disorders and mental health.
The learning never stops. That is not a complaint.
What people experience:
Neurotherapy and talk therapy are not separate tracks at The Togetherness Project. They inform each other. As the nervous system becomes better regulated, there is more capacity for the relational and psychological work. As insight and connection deepen in therapy, the brain has more to work with.
People come in dysregulated, exhausted, stuck. Over time they notice improved emotional regulation, clearer thinking, better sleep, more cognitive and executive capacity. The relational work builds alongside that, supporting families and carers with the skills and understanding to hold that change at home.
We work across eating disorders (AN, BN, BED, ARFID, OSFED), mental health, neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia etc), and the intersection of complex health conditions & neurodiversity.
The model adapts to the person, not the other way around.

You do not need to have it all worked out before you get in touch. Most people don't. Just start with a conversation.
